Exhibits focus on the future of equipment, technology and solutions

Focusing on innovation and sustainability with a focus on the “next 100 years”, Caterpillar Inc. (NYSE: CAT) exhibited new equipment, technology, power solutions and services at bauma Munich 2025, the world’s leading construction machinery and equipment exhibition, on its 100th anniversary to help customers meet the many challenges on the construction site.

The Caterpillar Performance Center focuses on the synergy of power, equipment, services, technology and unmanned driving. The many solutions on display help customers improve performance, optimize efficiency and achieve sustainable development goals on the construction site. Visitors can experience simulations to understand how to upgrade their fleets with advanced technologies to reduce fuel consumption and greenhouse gas emissions.

Technology, Connectivity and Safety: Caterpillar’s latest VisionLink intelligence system can help customers achieve equipment management, operation management and safety management of fleets of different sizes. The full functionality of Cat Command will be demonstrated in the complete application of remote control, semi-autonomous and fully autonomous technologies for the construction and quarrying industries.

Service and Support Solutions: Caterpillar provides integrated aftermarket solutions to increase equipment uptime, enhance efficiency and reduce costs, including Cat Value Asset (CVA), digital tools and expert support.

Powering the Construction Site: Caterpillar launches customized solutions for a comprehensive electrification ecosystem to help customers reduce carbon emissions and improve productivity, including renewable energy, energy storage systems, advanced charging facilities and electric equipment.

Caterpillar’s Latest Equipment: A total of 48 machines were on display, including 17 new or upgraded models, including products designed to enhance the battery electric product line, expand the next-generation product line, and increase the demolition, waste and recycling fields.

Engines and construction site power solutions

The exhibition area showcases a variety of industrial engines compatible with 100% HVO (hydrogenated vegetable oil) renewable fuels, including the new Cat C13D and the high-power Cat C3.6 with an output of 106 kW (142 hp). Caterpillar introduced an electric drive system for the first time, demonstrating Caterpillar’s expanding electrification ecosystem. In addition, the hydrogen fuel engine testing area highlights the development of fuels and exhibits a remanufactured Cat C7 engine.
