Fully prototype tested, the Cat generator set kit takes 100% of the cylinder load in one step, complies with NFPA 110 load requirements, complies with ISO 8528-5 steady and transient response requirements, is designed to be reliable, robust and durable, and has been field-proven thousands of times worldwide. The four-stroke cycle diesel engine not only has consistent performance and excellent fuel economy, but also minimizes weight. Excellent motor starting capability minimizes the need for large alternators. Matches the performance and output characteristics of Cat diesel engines operating at standard ambient temperatures up to 55C (131°F) Rugged Class H insulation for specific environment and altitude.

The components used in the generator sets are selected based on seamless design integration to provide optimal performance. The generator sets are fully assembled at the Caterpillar plant according to our quality guidelines, and each generator set kit is tested before it leaves the Caterpillar plant.
